If your motorcycle will not be operated for the season and stored for more than 30 days, take the steps below.
1. Before storing your LiveWire motorcycle, give it a thorough wash and dry to decontaminate the surfaces of road grime and salt. See After Riding → Cleaning and General Care.
2. Ensure the battery is between 30–70%. Be sure to check the state of charge once a week to ensure it does not dip below 30%. Charge if necessary.
3. Check and fill the cooling system. To purchase LiveWire-approved coolant, visit: https://shop.livewire.com/coolant/
See Maintenance and Lubrication → Coolant
4. Arm the security system. Refer to SECURITY SYSTEM.
5. Cover the motorcycle with a material such as light canvas that breathes. Plastic materials that do not breathe promote condensation and corrosion. You can purchase a genuine LiveWire cover for your motorcycle here: https://shop.livewire.com/livewire-motorcycle-cover/
