Tariffs, Pricing, and the S4 Honcho™: What Riders Need to Know

Recent U.S. tariff changes have increased import costs for many products, including electric motorcycles. We want to be transparent about what that means for the LiveWire® S4 Honcho Trail.

What Is a Tariff?

A tariff is an additional cost imposed on certain imported goods. These costs are determined by government trade policies and can increase the overall cost of bringing products into the U.S.

What Does This Mean for the S4 Honcho?

The important bit: The S4 Honcho Trail MSRP remains $4,999.

However, recent tariffs have added approximately $443 per unit in import costs. Rather than increasing the MSRP, LiveWire is keeping the base price unchanged and identifying the tariff impact as a separate surcharge.

Why Take This Approach?

We believe transparency is the best policy. By separating the tariff surcharge from the motorcycle's MSRP, riders can clearly see which costs are tied to the product and which are the result of external trade policies.

Should tariff rates change in the future, the surcharge can be adjusted accordingly without changing the S4 Honcho's MSRP.
