How to unlock new features.
LiveWire has just released a free software update for S2 Del Mar®, S2 Mulholland™, and S2 Alpinista™ and it's a big one. Based directly on rider feedback, this update introduces two powerful new features: Reverse and Roll-Forward Regenerative Braking (RFR).
These enhancements are designed to give you more control, and smoother maneuverability. But to access them, you’ll need to perform the software update and opt-in via your bike’s Ride Customization menu.
These features are not enabled by default. Here’s what you need to do:

LiveWire’s S2 regenerative braking system just expanded beyond rider modes. In addition to coast-down regen (which activates when you release the throttle), you can now actively engage maximum regen by rolling the throttle forward past neutral while in motion.
